1 OF 336
The Shreveport Stingers are my flagship hockey team to bring women's hockey worldwide. Project 336 I created shortly after the conclusion of the 2014 Sochi Olympics. This was before the then NWHL (now PHF) had formed. I have slowly over the past 9 years have been researching, designing and making teams that I believe would not only grow the game of hockey worldwide, but expand the inclusion of who plays the game exponentially to parts where there may be a severe under-representation or under-exposure to the game.
The only 2 teams currently residing in the city of Shreveport, Louisiana are the Shreveport MudBugs, a Tier 2 Junior Ice Hockey team and the Shreveport Mavericks, a professional basketball team operating in the TBL (The Basketball League). The Stingers would be the only professional ice hockey team to operate in a city of 187,593 people.
