Indiana Pacers Rebrand

Even though the Indiana Pacers introduced new threads in 2019 with their Association and Icon jerseys I felt it strayed away from their heritage. In my rebrand I introduce a logo that features the speed at which the Pacers play their game, setting the pace perhaps? Sorry, terrible joke. Anyways, the logo also features the grip line design of a basketball and a small adjustment to the team's colors. My designs of the uniforms I would consider a mix of old and new while representing Indiana by more than a mere checkered design.

Inside The Design

The halftone stripes that run along the side of the uniforms also represent the speed of the Indiana Pacers' game, besides the logo. I subtly changed the colors of Navy Blue to a darker shade, and the Yellow to a more vibrant and stand out Yellow to contrast the Darker Navy Blue, making the whole uniform as bold as the team. Included in the wordmark of the Home and Alternate Uniforms is the silhouette outline of the state of Indiana, something I felt was lacking in their uniforms since they began playing basketball. The only homage the team offered was a checkered design (paying tribute to the Indianapolis Speedway) in their 2019 - 2020 City Edition jerseys. They are the Indiana Pacers, not the Indianapolis Pacers. So I made sure the whole state was an important part somewhere in the design. I still wanted to include that checkered design, so I did in the side stripe of the Alternate uniform.
